Steps

Go to the screen you want to capture. Find the image, picture, message, website, etc., of which you want to take a picture.

How to take a screenshot on an iPad using the Sleep/Wake buttons

How to take a screenshot on iPhone X

Open the app or screen you want to capture.

In other words, a recording is not legal unless all parties to the conversation consent. I’ve addressed the legality of secret recordings, so will now address the issue of their admissibility in court as evidence. Generally speaking, illegal recordings are not admissible into evidence.

However, you must not film or take photos of people if they are in a place where they can expect privacy (such as a public changing area or toilet) and that person: has not given consent to be filmed or photographed.

A police officer may record his/her conversations with you without your consent if it is face to face. He/she cannot covertly tap and record your telephone conversations. However, if they attempt to use this in the court as evidence, there are grounds upon which your attorney may object.

That means you can record an officer during a traffic stop, during an interrogation, or while he or she is making an arrest. You can record people protesting or giving speeches in public. Connecticut law makes it illegal to record telephone calls without the permission of all parties to the conversation.

But you will not be charged for illegally recording police. Twelve states—California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Washington—require the consent of all parties for you to record a conversation.
